Church Spire, Grayshott
This is the church at the end of the road where my mother lived. It hardly ever snows nowadays. That Christmas we woke with a blanket of light snow.

The Lamp, Duke of Cumberland Pub, Henley
The Duke of Cumberland is my family’s favourite pub at home. It has been there for 500 years, and every summer is covered in labelia that must be hundreds of years old, too.

Windmill
There is a beautiful walk along the waterways called the Kinderdyke. Some people still live in the windmills, hence the animals dotted around the place.

St. Petersburg
One of my favourite cities in the world. This city is full of canals and waterways and I love the mixture of water and colourful buildings.  Some of the back streets are devoid of tourists, so it’s perfect to get some photographs of the water and reflections without too much interruption.

Palm Tree Shadow, Rome
This is the square just below Spanish Steps in Rome. I had got up really early in the morning, and it had rained heavily the night before – the square was pretty empty at that time, and I was able to stand back and shoot without interruption.
