This beautiful mountain village is in Provence, above Cannes. Tourrettes-sur-Loup is literally translated as Turrets on the Loup River. This is one of the alleyways leading to even more beautiful sights.

  • Fountain in Paris

    /images/europe/fish_horse_fountain.jpg

Paris has beautiful parks; on this trip we were walking through the Jardins de Luxembourg on our way to find a restaurant that my friend has last visited 20 years ago! We found the restaurant, the same owners, and the same wonderful food.

  • Ponte Mulvius, Roma

    /images/europe/rome_bridges_at_night.jpg

The bridge is called Pons Mulvius and is famous for one thing; Constantine's reported vision, on the eve of battle, of a cross in the sky and a voice "In this sign conquer" which turned him and the Roman Empire to Christianity.

  • Pots, Lyme Regis, Dorset

    /images/europe/pots_lyme_regis.jpg

Lyme Regis is a picturesque fishing town in southern England - famous for a mention in the Doomsday Book, and for smugglers! We were there visiting my Godmother, and spotted these pots on an evening stroll. I especially like taking photographs of pots and the evening light.
