Colorado is famous for the Aspen and the leaf is so delicate. The morning dew on this leaf caught my attention one morning at home.

Flower on a Rock

On our way up to Cody, Wyoming, we camped alongside the Green River in Browns Park. This was a hide out area for Butch Cassidy no less. A flower that has grown on a hard stone says something about endurance to me.

These hydrangeas are in a little garden at the Villa Durrazzo, in Santa Margherita, Italy. I spent a summer there trying to learn Italian!

Gourdon is an ancient perched village, and it is really perched. It sits on the edge of a rocky spur that juts out about 500 metres directly above the Loup river.
